One Small Thing Podcast | Create Today

Hosted by Dr Caroline Howe, One Small Thing is a short-form podcast about the small actions, reflections and everyday experiences that can support connection, confidence, perspective and wellbeing.

ABOUT THE PODCAST

One useful idea, one small reflection, one thing to take into the week

One Small Thing takes ordinary moments and uses them to explore ideas about connection, confidence, relationships, change and wellbeing. Episodes are brief, practical and grounded in everyday life rather than presented as formal treatment or advice.

The podcast is produced by Create Today and hosted by Dr Caroline Howe. MSSN shares selected episodes because many of the themes connect with the experiences of people rebuilding participation, confidence and social connection after illness, injury, disability, ageing or major life change.

ABOUT THE HOST

Hosted by Dr. Caroline Howe

Dr Caroline Howe is a psychologist, researcher and social innovator with more than 30 years of experience across rehabilitation, workplace mental health, disability, psychosocial safety and system-level reform.

She holds a PhD in Work, Health and Psychology from the University of Sydney and has led major research, innovation and community-impact programs across public insurance and workplace health.

Caroline is the Founder of Create Today, where her work focuses on the intersection of work, health, longevity and social connection. She also co-directs the Psychosocial Safety & Leadership Institute, supporting organisations to translate psychosocial safety obligations into practical, sustainable action.

Across her work, Caroline has a particular interest in the small factors that shape how people cope, connect, recover and adapt through change. One Small Thing brings that perspective into everyday life — combining evidence, reflection and practical ideas in short, accessible conversations.
