Our program places a spotlight on identifying and harnessing these skills, enabling you to explore diverse avenues and industries that align with your abilities and passions. Through guidance and strategic planning, we ensure that your journey encompasses growth. As you set your sights on new opportunities, keep in mind that change isn’t about discarding your past; it’s about building upon it. Your work experience serves as the stepping stone to your next chapter. By embracing change and harnessing your existing skills, you’re not just embarking on a new journey – you’re pioneering a path that encapsulates your growth, your potential, and the remarkable possibilities that await.
At My Social Support Network, we recognise that job preparation isn’t about immediate employment. It is about propeling you towards a future of meaningful and rewarding employment. By equipping you with knowledge and confidence, about the landscape of the job market, you will be empowered and be able to carve your own path.
Enabling Injured Workers: A journey towards successful RTW
After experiencing an injury, the road back to work (RTW) or a successful career transition can feel challenging. Work capacity often diminishes, prompting the injured worker to look for new employment opportunities during or after their recovery.
Our goal is not only to provide assistance or jobs but most importantly to equip our members with confidence and the essential know-how with the help and guidance of our experts. This comprehensive approach includes a spectrum of important aspects such as: recognising their career/job preferences, effectively communicating injury disclosures, developing their resume, identifying their transferable skills for a specific job, planning their job search strategy, and more.
Our members join the program and get a one-on-one session for a more focused discussion of their job preferences and/or RTW barriers.
