SINGLE SERVICE

Services to support your recovery and return to work.

This service is designed to identify the essential services required for the member to maintain or enhance their independence within the comfort of their own homes. By conducting thorough assessments, we aim to prevent further injury, minimize aggravation, and help prevent the development of chronic conditions. Our primary goal is to evaluate the member’s capacity to perform activities of daily living and identify any potential need for necessary and reasonable equipment or home modifications that can promote independence.

We understand that having the right tools and aids is crucial in promoting independence and ensuring a supportive environment.

To conclude the assessment, a detailed report will be provided, outlining our findings and recommendations. This comprehensive report serves as a valuable resource for the member, their families, and healthcare professionals involved in their care. It highlights specific areas of concern, suggests potential modifications or equipment, and provides actionable insights to improve independence and quality of life at home.

Designed to assess the functional capacity of the member, enabling us to determine the physical limitations resulting from their present injury. This assessment plays a critical role in considering safe options for their return to work.

Our experienced professionals evaluate various aspects of functional capacity, including functional tolerances, lifting capacity, carrying capacity, pushing and pulling capacity, and other relevant factors.

In addition to assessing physical capacity, our service includes the establishment of treatment goals tailored to the member’s specific needs. We recognize the importance of setting achievable goals that support their recovery process and facilitate a successful return to work. Furthermore, we collaborate with the treating practitioner through a comprehensive case conference to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to the member’s care.

Upon completion of the assessment, a detailed report will be provided. This report serves as a comprehensive record of the functional assessment findings, treatment goals, and recommendations. It also includes an evaluation of the worker’s fitness for duties in relation to their employment. The report is an invaluable resource for employers, healthcare professionals, and the workers themselves, providing essential information to guide decision-making and facilitate a safe and successful return to work.

Our Physical Workplace Assessment service identifies and addresses any physical implications that may hinder a worker’s ability to recover and return to work. We conduct a comprehensive evaluation, considering job duties, physical requirements, work environment, transportation, and more.

Based on the results, we will propose suitable duties and recommend any necessary equipment or adaptations to support a safe return to work. We also provide guidance for setting up an ideal home workspace for remote work scenarios. Our stepped care plan ensures a gradual increase in work-related activities, tailored to the worker’s physical capacity and recovery progress.

We aim to identify viable vocational alternatives for members who, due to injury, are unable to resume their previous employment position. We understand the importance of finding suitable and sustainable employment options that align with their abilities and goals.

During the assessment, our experienced team conducts a thorough evaluation to identify at least three potential employment options. These options may or may not require additional training, depending on the member’s skills and the requirements of the new positions. Our goal is to provide a range of choices that offer realistic opportunities for suitable and sustainable employment.

To ensure feasibility, we provide a snapshot of the member’s local labor market. This analysis allows us to determine if the identified vocational options align with the available opportunities within their geographic area. We also make direct contact with potential employers to gauge their interest and evaluate the feasibility of placement.

Upon completion of the assessment, a comprehensive report is provided. This report includes the identified vocational options, their respective training requirements (if applicable), and an overview of the local labor market.
