Dealing with pain through injury, whether it be physical or psychological pain, is a major part of the day-to-day difficulties for anyone dealing with an injury. especially a workplace injury. Adding pain to stress, isolation and uncertainty brings with it a myriad of complications, but what if there was a way to work through that pain without yet more medication?
Dr Tania Gardner is an APA Titled Pain Physiotherapist and lecturer at the University of Sydney. She has over 30 years of clinical experience, most recently working in the Department of Pain Medicine, St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, for over 10 years as a Senior Pain Physiotherapist. Tania led the establishment of the Reboot online program, the first multidisciplinary online pain program in Australia and continues to be involved in the ongoing research and development of the program.
Tania has a strong interest and extensive clinical experience in chronic pain, digital health, patient engagement and motivation and psychologically informed practice. She is passionate in improving access to high quality pain management for those experiencing chronic pain.
